Will you help older people like Halyna?
Halyna, 74, lives in a Ukrainian town still under frequent air strikes. Like many older people, she has been unable to flee to safety, even as the conflict has escalated.
Her mental health has declined due to the constant stress. With healthcare systems severely disrupted she finds it difficult to access the specialist support she needs.
Age International is working with our partners in Ukraine and Moldova to support older people affected by the conflict, both those who have been displaced from their homes and those who have remained.
A donation today could help provide older people with:
- Community spaces to come together and receive support
- Tailored food parcels and hygiene kits
- Specialised healthcare and mental health support
- Cash assistance so that older people can buy the things they need
If you have any questions or would prefer to donate by telephone, please do not hesitate to call our friendly helpline on 0800 032 0699.
Thank you.
Age International is raising money for our Ukraine Appeal, to help support older people and their families affected by the conflict in Ukraine. Any income not spent after 12 months past the end of the appeal may be allocated to another emergency situation that requires our support.
