Tweet Your Questions – Health Policy Q&A

Published on 07 July 2023 01:19 PM

Age International has announced a Twitter Q&A session featuring their resident health policy expert Kayla Arnold, author of the recent report 'Universal Health Coverage for All Ages: An Agenda for Action'.

The Q&A is an opportunity to discuss older people's access to health care and learn more about the report's findings and recommendations. The session takes place on 26 July 2023, between 12 and 1 pm GMT. To take part, visit Age International's official Twitter page at www.twitter.com/age_int and submit your questions using the hashtag #HealthForAllReportChat.

The Q&A will also be an opportunity to learn about concrete actions supporters can take to help improve healthcare access for older people worldwide and advance the agenda of universal health coverage for all ages.

The report, published in May, advocates for access to healthcare for all ages, focusing on the importance of age-inclusive health systems strengthening, and presents evidence and recommendations for UK international development efforts. It draws on the organisation's experience working in partnership with HelpAge network members around the world in areas such as healthcare access, addressing chronic diseases, and responding to humanitarian crises.

Mark your calendars for the Twitter Q&A session on July 26 2023, from 12 to 1 pm GMT, and make sure to join the conversation using the hashtag #HealthForAllReportChat.
